I didn't know what type of flower Protea was- I had to look them up! Turns out they are one of the oldest flowering plants dating back 300 million years! There are even fossils of them! Not only do they come from a long line, but they are also named after a Greek god, Proteus, who was able to change his shape. Fittingly, the Protea flower has over 70 different genera giving them a wide variety of shapes and colors
These beautiful glass marbles have a pink/purple swirl with small white flowers throughout. Thin, light green swirls complement the colors making a beautiful and unique glass marble for your collection.
Designed by a professional glass marble maker and handmade by different glass marble artists, these marbles cannot be attributed to one single artist. All marbles are made in small batches, so there will be differences from batch to batch. Marbles have dimples or marks on them from the process it takes to make them by hand.
